arts* wellness* community*: prescriptions, provocations, and possibilities

a public discussion hosted by the FLOURISH Collective

Join us for a pertinent and dynamic panel discussion on prescriptions, provocations, and possibilities in the arts-wellness-community space. Our panel of practitioners will share their unique and thoughtful ideas on this field and think through the future of its genealogies as it pertains to equity, multiculturalism, neoliberalism, and resistance. How do we account for equity work in the arts-wellness-community space? How can we resist the forces of neoliberal multiculturalism and other (influencers) in the national and global context? What does the future look like for Arts-Wellness-Community?

Panelists include established, emergent, and early career scholars:

  • Paul Crawford, The University of Nottingham (United Kingdom)
  • Obidi Ezezika, University of Western Ontario (Canada)
  • Rachael Jacobs, Western Sydney University (Australia)
  • Natalie Leduc, University of Toronto Scarborough (Canada)
  • Kate Mulligan, Canadian Institute for Social Prescribing (Canada)
  • Gloria Umogbai, University of Toronto Scarborough (Canada)
